  1. Lol, I literally high fived myself. The joy I felt!!
  2. Ok so I have been scratching my head over this one for approx three weeks. The car is an Acme Warrior Pro and I love it. But I slammed it into a tree and bent lots of things. Had to buy a new chassis shock mounts fuel tank was bust, along with a drive shaft so a total rebuild. Ordered the parts rebuilt with no problem apart from setting up the throttle/brake combo. Ruined one servo in the process. I could tell the new servo was struggling too but for the life of me not why.…… Turns out that I had screwed down the throttle and brake rods, at each end of the servo horn so tight they would not pivot thereby stopping the servo from working. Arrrrggghhhh took me three weeks to suss this out!!! 🤬🤬
  3. Hi all, I have quite a few RCs that I bought ready to run, but now I want to build my own nitro truck from a kit. I just want a rolling chassis to put a .21 engine in. But I’m finding it difficult to source this. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. chris.
  4. Hi guys, looking for a bit of advice. Does anyone know of a suitable upgrade to this servo? Thanks in advance, Chris.
  5. Hi, I’ve only put one break in tank through the car so far. I don’t think it will break any speed records tbh but I wanted an easy to tune reliable fuss free nitro basher. The two speed box with reverse and neutral was a bonus. It will definitely fit the above requirements. I have two Nitro Savages and a Hobao Hyper ST. They are more fussy
  6. Indeed, but there are many different and viable break in procedures. But my story was about a freak situation.
  7. Sooo, I’ve recently unboxed a Kyosho Nitro Tracker. I want an easy to run easy to tune general nitro basher. I believe this thing is that. Anyway she started up fourth pull and ran no problem. I start the break in. During the break in I put the car and the radio on top of two rubbish bins in order to adjust the idle. But, the wind blew the radio off the bins throwing the batteries everywhere. Now you can neutral in these things so I had a runaway in neutral. Only thing I could think of was block the exhaust pipe. I did, it stopped the engine but burnt my finger Arrrrgghhh. The joy of nitro.
  8. To be fair I think you are right. I fitted them as a experiment hoping they would make the truck less top heavy. Plus they look cool. I’ve got a little test track in my garden will try both sets.
  9. Bought this beauty. New to the crawler thingy but it is great fun. Hobao cars are good quality. Fitted wider wheels/tyres to her and I reckon the handling is better.
  10. Hi guys, new to the crawler thingy but got this beauty. A Hobao DC 1. Fitted wider wheels and tyres and I reckon she handles better. Love these things. Great fun.
  11. Hi guys, I have just unboxed the above RC. I put a Lipo 2s battery in it and it ran for a while but soon stopped responding. When you turn on the ESC it blinks red. I noticed on the ESC there is a little plug, like a binding plug. On the ESC there is clearly marked NIMH and LIPO. Should I have plugged it in to the Lipo pins before I ran it?? thanks in advance. chris.
  12. Hi, it is Team Associated Trophy Rat Rod.
  13. The crew gets bigger with the addition of an Arrma Outcast. 🙂
