  1. I must've been a good boy. M06 karmann ghia, M05 nsu tt, sand scorcher, big and small Lego tumblers.
  2. Apologies for the number of photos but I'm well chuffed with how this one.
  3. After a bit, actually a lot, of tweaking I'm finally happy with how the body is sitting. First try with magnetic mounts has been a learning curve. I'm calling this one finished now.
  4. The result of a few days worth of masky peely sticky ing
  5. I'll build it, don't think the wheelbase thing is sorted in the kit though.
  6. Another day of laying down some paint and back in the warm cupboard overnight.
  7. Masky mask and painty paint And tomorrow, more of the same but with a different colour.
  8. That's next on the list unless I've got all the parts I need for my manta ray.
  9. I'm happy with mine, it's got all the same toys and the ejector seat works.
  10. I'd be interested in the brat you've got in the sales section now but can't justify it right now. At that price it'd sell in no time on the Tamiya Legends Sales Group on facebook.
  11. I'm hoping they release this on the mf01x chassis with a suitable rally livery. Until then, not interested.
  12. Added a few finishing touches and put this together.
  13. Team Blue Groove do a Thundershot body. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153470499584 MCI probably do the decals as well. Both based in Canada so prices can be high for repro stuff.
  14. I have. I'm not sure how I feel about it going on the fire dragon chassis, looks like it sits too high up to me. Might have to get one anyway though 🤣
  15. If you're just wanting to ride round on roads to get fit look for a hybrid bike. I bought one recently for £70. Specialized bike with light alloy frame and decent spec. Not a sexy bike so they don't go for much money. Also a lot better for riding on roads as they're lighter and faster than a mountain bike while more comfortable than a road bike.
  16. The canondale has been left to rot in a garden. The forks are shot, you can see that from the rust on the stanchions. A few years ago 350 might have bought something decent but the market has gone mad since COVID-19 and lockdown. Also 350 is a big stretch from from original budget of 150. Buy junk and you won't enjoy riding it. I stick to my suggestion of a couple of demo days. Or even somewhere with a decent fleet of hire bikes to see if you enjoy mountain biking. Then decide if it's something you enjoy enough to buy something decent.
