    Not a fan of the pickup so no worries there 😆 the K5 blazer is much more appealing to me need to hurry up and get released already

    I could get the power wagon to start and get some monster trucks wheels and body later on have the best of both worlds 😁

    MS still call it max smasher 🤣 I was/am thinking about getting one or the power wagon as I’ve been awoken to the monster trucks no thanks to the clodbuster 😆 but would it be worth the extra money or get the power wagon and buy some upgrades with the savings 🤔

    I’m looking at getting one for them power wagons myself what’s the difference between this and the max smasher other than body and wheels and the £30/40 difference ?

    I built mine withe the motor mounted in the C hole as per the manual and found it to make a hell of a noise and very tight mesh so moved it to the D hole 🤔(that sounds wrong 🤣) and now is really quiet and lovely and smooth dose help with the brushless motor it has 👍

    Don’t know if this would make much difference but the striped spur gear was a 54t but the new/replacement spur is 52t would that really make that much of a difference to the motor temps ?

    it’s the waiting for parts for me mostly I have to order some bits from AliExpress for the bruiser clone I’ve just built don’t know how long it takes from AliExpress never ordered from there before but I do enjoy the taking it apart and replacing/rebuilding part much more than using the RC’s 🤣

    Had another mixed bag of things today on the bad/expected side the clone bruiser sowed its cheapness as the king pin thing has rounded the threads in the axle 🙄 as I was putting the servo relocation kit on so I’ll be doing my first AliExpress order for a stock up of parts 👍 I’m not complaining about it I was fully expecting it as it’s a cheap clone was hoping to have used it first though 🤣 on the good side run the stampede on 2s and much better than 3s motor still gets hot but will put the fan I have on for next time and the f150 body took a beating and has no damage 😁 and had a blast with the clodbuster hade the most fun with that getting quiet good at wheelies 😁

    I’ll be using it on a scale trail truck build I’m doing over the winter so nothing other than a bit of mud if it keeps the lenses and windows on and won’t fog up then I’ll be happy 👍

    I would think it would be a bit tricky or can you get small amounts of clear silicone? only know the big tubes of it 🤣

    I’m worried about the fogging up if I use the wrong stuff I keep seeing ca glue don’t know what the difference is between glues if I’m honest I gust use the strongest glue I can get when I need it for around the house 🤣

    Finished the tamiya bruiser clone hoping to test it out tomorrow then strip it down again 🤣 for a reason though to detail the really nice body and prepare it for the new bearings that are on the way 👍

    Are there any other solid axle monster trucks available that are like the losi lmt ? the super clodbuster has awoken the monster truck side of me

      They have/did update the axles and I didn't have any issues though I did only use mine in the warmer months. I would say they're fine and hold up to a fairly significant beating with in reason and you don't go full Kevin Talbot 🤣 the biggest issue I had was the servo saver.

      Ah ok that was a big reason why I asked if there was alternative to the lmt wouldn’t mind paying the cost for one so long as it doesn’t break all the time 🤣 but I don’t do what Kevin does just the old dirt jump and general larking around 😁

      For a solid axle truck it'll be hard to find one as durable as the LMT however it obviously won't be as strong as something with independent suspension. I personally would also stick to 2s, it'll be fine on 3s but I did find it a bit to much and it took away some of the scale fun. but if you get one and try both to see what you prefer.

    This is where I got mine https://www.clevelandmodels.co.uk/product/hg-p407a-tamiya-bruiser-clone-1-10th-4wd-r-c-metal-pick-up-crawler-kit-white/ also in black it’s an RTR/KIT type thing axles chassis gear box already built just have to put it all together but I’ve stipend everything down and rebuilt it as you would expect a couple of rounded hex heads so far nothing major but the bearings it comes with seem ok time will tell on that but I’m waiting for a steering relocation kit and 12mm wheel hex adapters off eBay to arrive but for £212 I’m happy with it even if it only sits on the shelf 👍

      I’m down to 13 now with another thats currently for sale. But i was hovering around the 20 mark before having a clear out, paid for a camping holiday and a X-maxx so cant complain, however there’s just enough space for a couple of small scale rc should the need take me.

      a good mate of mine has 126rc now, probably enough bits for another 20 on top of that, his house is awesome!!
