The bottom line is cost, the more you spend 'should' get you a product which records quality data, an app which is well written and the user can understand it. Loads of reviews out there on YT and in the press.

I like the Garmin Virofit for many reasons, first and foremost it's waterproof, how Fitbit thought it was okay to produce a product which was not is beyond me  . The batteries last for roughly six months, cheap to replace, so no recharging issues etc.....  

Is it Vivofit? What version? How can they make it last so long, must be doing something different.

Yep it's Vivofit, think it's v2, probably v3 out by now.
