  1. As far as I’m aware the weight difference from the mx43 and the 57 is there lighter by 20% even that isn’t enough on the x Maxx imo Give them ago you never know you might like them or wait for the sledgehammers and see what they weigh in at 🤷🏻‍♂️
  2. You must be lucky then I’ve blown all mine I just superglue them back together, they only get replaced when I blow the foams out. Badlands too heavy heats the motor up and ends up causing more damage on impact even if you tweak your suspension. Great if you want to go fast in a straight line NOT so great if you actually use it like an off road truck 😂
  3. Blimey I see old Talbot earns between 40k a year to £620k mind you looks a bit naughty as he claims it’s a US channel 😂9-A6758-CD-1-A5-A-4-FA1-862-C-41-F5-D146

Fair play to him to be fair. Id imagine he is on the upper end of your claim to be honest. As @Fly In My Soupsays, doubt theres anything illegal going on either, just how youtube works. I appreciate his style can grate on people but I take my hat off to him

I'm actually finding I enjoy his content more now than a year or so ago, mainly because its so diverse, and most of the videos he puts out are about stuff i find interesting.  I don't watch all his content by any stretch, but what I do I generally enjoy a great deal, mainly because he makes me laugh, which is a major part of being entertained in my book, and he's clearly a petrol head at heart, which also helps.  I also respect where he's come from, his optimism, his energy and his general work ethic. So, good on him.

Doubt it’s anything fishy to be honest as it all too easy for the tax man to see. Earning that sort of money and avoiding tax and vat is asking for a free vacation 😂😂

  4. These are on special with the coupon code on eBay £325 ! Tempting
  5. So what’s the difference if any from the 6s version to the 4s version other than the electrics ?
  6. The kit is 300 of the rtr is £490 Personally even that’s a bit steep I’d rather get the FTX DR8 at £360 if you shop around a bit. Same size easy parts excess and cheap as chips. With savings you could even treat it to some nice cnc upgrades 👍.
  7. Is it just me or is the Modelsport site down ?

  8. Now been pushed back until March now that sucks
  9. Rrp is €749 it's no bigger than a 1/8 truggy with buggy arms so it may look okay but its not cheap by any means
  10. Yep agreed but sadly they didn’t leave any wiggle room by the looks so you got zero chance of shoe horning anything bigger in it. It would come over like Corally like to gear to the max out the box from last trucks can’t see this one being different
  11. He didn’t want to show how hot it got though ! Woke it up but at what cost 🤷🏻‍♂️
  12. Very nice NEW Kronos XTR check it out https://world.corally.com/kronos-xtr-2022/#home

I think one of the things that stands out for me about Corally is that they actually bother to try and fix/revise parts and it feels like they are putting in a lot of effort to get things right.

Just out of interest, I priced up all of the upgrade parts to make a 2021 into a 2022.  Ignoring the resale of 2021 parts, it would cost £143 so even the current £405 is not too bad.

  13. If it is a new maxx might not be worth buying these and the wide kit, time you add it all up you might be better off selling the old one and getting a new one instead 🤷🏻‍♂️
  14. Gonna try a set of these but not going to bother with the widemaxx kit. With these new parts coming out I dare say there will be a v3 x Maxx on the horizon pretty soon or maybe there gonna switch it up a bit and release a x revo style truck
  15. Bet I can guess someone that will be all over these 😂
  16. Sounds like a plan 👍 Dont suppose will see these anytime soon here mind
  17. Now that is something I’d try out I wonder how heavy they are compared to stock ?
  18. Forgot about that 🤦🏻 I’m getting close to pulling the trigger on one of these I’ve always liked them and the the price of spares is crazy cheap. Not that they seem to need any 👍 Thought I’d seen it somewhere 👍
  19. Yep no nose dives or nothing in that vid but I wonder how it ripped its front bumper off so it could drift around it 😂👍 I think it’s getting compared more to a flat pan chassis design as that’s what it is the Maxx on the other hand is nothing like a flat pan chassis design . This is not what I’d call a hcg monster truck like the Maxx at all if anything this Is more like a buggy with big wheels as that’s basically what it is with a wheelie bar rather than a rear wing
  20. Yep watched that as well think I’m gonna pass on this one some could as you say be tweaked out but I think overall it’s not something that will suit where I wanted it for. Shame though as it does look a solid truck
  21. Just watched his running vid truck looks very nose heavy, I can certainly see why the front bumpers are getting ripped off by the China guys. Can’t say his running vid inspired much confidence for me to buy one. Must admit though I’m no fan of Razor Rc the guy us full of 💩. Truck is engineered very well but so far looks a bit of a dog to drive.
