  1. Lvc=low voltage cut off. It shuts down the esc when the Lipo gets below a set voltage.
  2. Looks like you've bought one of those "professional race buggies". Well, that's what it normally says on the box.?
  3. I'd go to hobbyking uk. Quality batteries at a cheap price. I've only had one go poof. & I stuck a screwdriver through that un ?
  4. ?. new set of wheels & some alu hexes it is then ?
  5. The hex looks ok. Where did that piece of plastic come from?
  6. Probably the rear diffs gone. Easy fix
  7. If you've not got any threadlock, a tiny bit of superglue on the thread should stop it. It's so frustrating when these simple things ruin a good bash. My hpi rush evo used to throw dog bones far too frequently. I tried every trick in the book, to no avail ?
  8. A bit of threadlock or superglue works. My brushless summit used to throw these all the time. Some heat shrink over the screw stopped it
  9. I've just made my first foray into the marine world of Rc. I ordered a "skytech h100" It's only 20 quid plus 4 quid postage. Should be fun for us on holiday. Of course I'll have to "see if it works " on the local pond before we go.?. I rekon I'll be able to jump it on the waves at the beach. Anyone else got one?
  10. & me fims. The nuts on the outlaw insist on buggering off. The ca glue works a treat ?
  11. I feel for the kids that've been trawling YouTube, seeing all the proper RCs that get something like the "brutus"?.
  12. Broken rear drive shaft? Mine did that a couple of weeks ago ?.
  13. My tmaxx 3.3 was very fragile. The A arms broke , the engine had hairline cracks in It, the body split on the first rollover while I was being gentle & running it in ?. I really wouldn't bother. Get something that ain't a money pit.
  14. I've got a gool rc motor in my outlaw. Runs cool & is plenty powerful enough.
  15. NOFX

    Idea please

Measure the battery tray, then go onto hobbyking uk & find the highest mah Lipo that'll fit.
  16. Give ya little un a hand with maintenance. It's a bonding exercise as well as learning. Our 5 year old helps fix his mini monster truck. Point out bits & pieces as ya go along.
  17. Mine was slow enough for a bit of a fart around in the house when it was brushed. & we live in a 2up 2down. Lay out some obstacles , get someone to help. I was jumping mine into the sofa off a cardboard ramp ?
  18. They're fun brushed for the rocky & near vertical stuff?.
  19. Yeah. I put a couple of braces between the rear chassis plates. Loads of people have don't it. It lessens chassis flex & makes it stronger. I used bits of old roll cage off the crap ftx viper. Delrin rod would be ideal though.
  20. Mines been a good truck. Just do the chassis mod & have fun ?
  21. I got the steel rear drive shaft. It's a hell of a lot more meaty than the plastic stock one. I can't see it breaking ?
  22. The acceleration has gone up by 50%. . I had to swap the battery connections over. It's not a speed run truck. It's not built for speed runs. I didn't have the chance to have a proper rip with it, due to it going fwd in about 25 seconds. I'm not gonna put a 3s in it. As I said, it's not built for speed runs.
  23. A mild brushless combo'd be ok ( someone else'll have to chip in on this, I only do overkill) .
  24. Fitted the new steel drive shaft to the outlaw. It's good & beefy, should last a long time ?
