Nice, I have cruise control set on the dumbo, such a useful setting on a crawler 👍

Outside, shot a thin coat of some random lexan paint as a primer and then some Hycote Matt black paint that was £6 off Amazon 👍

Been cracking on with the build, not one issue at all, pics to follow but for now I’ve been messing with the rims, I hated the centre caps being the same colour and having the screws stand out like a sore thumb So Rit Dyed them 👍

Amazing, I don’t think it can be beat considering the price tag 👍

Yesterday i started on the TLR LMT build And this morning i took the Ecto build out for its maiden run 👍

Servo is excellent, loads of power Combo is amazing, the low control and drag brake and holding power is excellent, plenty enough wheel speed on 2s with a 18t pinion Tyres worked well Could do with a touch more weight up front, brass knuckles would sort that Overall I’m really happy with the build, one thing I’ve said to myself is this isn’t a shelf build, so it won’t be getting the normal AJ post running clean up, a quick brush down and that’s it 👍

Yeah I’ve already watched that, typical first off the production line kit. I’ve not encountered any issues so far 👍

What a kit, I can see why it’s so expensive now, I didn’t realise all the cross bracing were aluminium Ive also built the shocks and diffs, they are all standard 1/8 buggy sized stuff

Kit arrived from Amazon in the US in 4 days Also picked up a set of J Concepts Renegade tyres on Aggressor rims from MS And a nice AGFRC servo from SMD Motor and esc wise I’ve got a Castle Copperhead in my parts box, I’ll probably pair it to a Castle 1412 2100kv and run 3s No idea on the body yet, this is a longer term project so progress might slow after the initial kit/roller build 👍

I ended up with the tyres I linked, they seem decent and I’ll be testing them tomorrow morning. I’m going to pick up a set of Rocko’s for my spare set of rims when they come back into stock 👍

Basic 6ch are about a 5iver and the one with the light controller are still under a tenner

I’ve had a GT5 and a Radiolink, I’ve just got a Dumbo RC DDF350 and I would pick it over both of them, I paid about £50 off Aliexpress and turned up in about 5 days Up to 10 channels (rx dependant) I’ve got the 6 channel version, but the extra channel are now light controllers, has some really nice settings like cruise control, winch controller etc

Na, can’t be arsed to take them off the steelies 😂

It’s a cracking radio, been going through the setting and it has everything you could wish for and more, like cruise control, winch controller mix etc The instructions are rubbish though and seems quite battery hungry, definitely needs a little lipo tx pack
