    If you change the radio system so long as you have enough channels youl still be able to lock/unlock difs but i dont know about cruise control It may depend on settings in your new radio I still use the original radio in my trx4 and 6 ,not had any probs so just kept it but if i do get probs will look into it further I think its still same radio now as your friend has

    the esc power switch is taped on top of the receiver so look at the ports in front of receiver

    Like Gaz i use the srewdriver type mip hex drivers and yet to round a screw out in time ive been using them

    Theres usally a button or a wee plug you plug into receiver to bind best checking the manual see how its done

    make sure the throttle trim is centred cos if it isnt the esc see's it as throttle input and wont arm itself ohh try rebinding transmitter to receiver as well

    If you liked your mates TRX4 then i would suggest going with that as it already comes with some of features your looking for and others may be able to be added later To be fair im not sure what else is out there in kit form

    Ahh it used to be the sport that came as a kit AJ just did an Ecto build and he thinks its really good

    The TRX4 sport is a kit but not sure what features it comes with and im pretty sure you can add features to them

    Have you had a look at the news pages as theres been a few new crawlers announced and spec wise they seem pretty decent Your mates TRX4 has it been modded at all ? Ive modded mine a bit with low down brass parts like brass portal covers etc
