  1. WOW....I have just been told I am going to get a share of 9.7million US dollars. Amaznig. All I have to do is send my bank details to a representative of hte Ban of Nigeria, and the IMF will do all the rest. Better hurry...apparantly, if I don't act now it all goes to somebody else. Better contact that nice chap in Lagos right away ...

Youll crack it mate the longer you take designing the better. Ide be looking at rc solutions for inspiration but I love their style of cages. Especially the revo one. But would rather have options for panels.

    3. J450n

      J450n

Currently toying with the idea of twin sports bike swing arms on a 1/10 beach buggy, so the whole back end moves vertical, none of this flappy arms nonsense ;), front might be just bolt upright 50mm shock with little movement.

    4. Tamiyacowboy

      Tamiyacowboy

best way would be running a trailing arm style rear like class 1 trucks, trailing arm with floating drive line cvd's, but the baja is a a-arm setup so more go with a autocross like frame , it cuts out the need to craft the cage to clear the wheels at full compression

  13. Cyclists....I give up. Watched one wobble through a red light, then proceed to cycle along the middle of the road at around 10mph. On a motorcycle...I go to pass him on the inside as there is a whole lane, and I assume he is going to turn right. He doesn't...instead he wobbles back to the inside. As I am waiting at the next lights he decides to lecture me on 'undertaking'....And they wonder my they have a bad reputation in London. I did the decent thing and pointed out that fat bl...

  17. Interesting...a 150Mah 1S heli battery doesn't work if you leave it in your pocket and put your jeans through the wash...who would have thought it! I then discovered that everyone selling Turnigy 150Mah Nanos on E-Bay are ripping people off. Hobbyking do them for 95p each...yet they seem to sell for around

  19. Right up on the North of north island now. Spent the last fewdays around the Coromandels, including Hot Water Beach. A natural spring hits some volcanic chamber deep underground, and the heated water comes up on the beach in a couple of springs. Dig a hole on the beach, and it fills with hot water. Instant spa! The springs are uncovered 2 hours either side fo low tide. Crazy..but fun! Off up 90 mile beach tomorrow. Only got a few days left here, then we fly off to SanFrancisco for a f...

  20. Now moved on to North Island. Stayed with friends for a few days and quit Wellington about 4 hrs before a 6.2 quake hit the place and closed the roads! Now we are in a campervan, and touring. Reached Rotorua today, hot springs...guysers...spectacular stuff! Van park we are at has it's own spa pools fed by volcanic water...beer/stars/hot steamy water...doesn;t get any better! Have burned a whole years holiday to be here...but it's worth it

  21. Went to Christchurch yesterday. Eerie place after the earthquakes. he centre of town is a still largely off limits with buildngs either torn down or fenced off. Last big quake was 2 years ago, but there is still a lot to do to rebuild. Now moved on to North Island, and we pick up a camper van in a few days to start touring. New Zealand is a fascinating place. Not a big place...but every part is so different!

  22. Last couple of days before we leave South Island for the North. Visited Mount Cook today, and we are over-nighting at Lake Tekapo. More scenery...no Hobbits...Hopefully, the weather will stay good. They are having one of hte mildest winters on record so far...which is good! A month back, we would not have been able to reach Mt Cook...the road was under a metre of snow!
