  1. I charge a 900mah nimh at 0.9a.Is that correct?

      Some cells can take it, but personally, I wouldn't unless it was absolutely essential. 10hour rate (90ma - .09a) is better. Nimh do not like heat.

       

      Check the spec of your cells to see if they can be charged at 1hr rate if you need to charge them quickly.

      Martin its fine to charge your NIMH battery that has a capacity of 900mah at a charge rate of 0.9a

      it will take around an hour to be fully charged, if you not very happy with my advice, you can double check by just having a feel of the battery when its charging. it should be warm to the touch ( not skin melting hot)
      and its also fine to run the battery when it comes of the charger and is still warm.
