Yokomo RO 1.0 Rookie Off-Road Buggy

    ror-010.jpg

Rookie Off-Road RO1.0 is available for beginners at a reasonable price as a racing buggy that runs through corners while raising dust clouds and clears jumps brilliantly!

A 2WD racing buggy with an easy-to-assemble parts configuration based on a flexible, crash-resistant integrated resin main chassis. It is also recommended for those who challenge off-road cars for the first time, and its high running performance that can handle active driving such as jumping is attractive. Since the basic structure is the same as the racing machine, it is possible to adapt to various driving conditions by changing the settings even when driving on a circuit dedicated to off-road cars.

The suspension and drive system parts are the same design as the top model, so by replacing them with lightweight carbon parts and high-precision aluminum parts, it is a structure that can be finished as a high-end machine. Although it is a beginner-friendly model that emphasizes stability, it is also attractive for its expandability that can meet expert-level driving.

Quite interested to see the chassis on this. The YZ2 which its based on has an aluminium chassis but this is plastic.

RRP is €300, you'd be better off buying a used YZ2 and fitting your own brand new electronics and it would still cost less than this and you'll have a better buggy IMO.

Yeah I just looked. That is really expensive and not very attractive. I expected about £200 but £300 is a little on the steep side. Nice idea. Poorly executed.
