The EU has nothing to do with that. The duties you pay on imports from the US are set by the British Government and them alone. They could at any point just set that codes tariff to zero.

    Yes it does

Eu members must pay customs and vat for any item over £150 that's imported from outside the e.u, a rate set by the EU not the individual member state....they are not permitted to set their own import rate with third party countries outside the e.u. bloc whilst they are still a member.

When we leave the e.u, this will obviously change and well be free to set our own rate

There is talk of a late Feb early March but not sure for which or which year lol

The Revo is said to be coming as a roller so that’s on the list and the new Desert truck,  scraped all plans of the Losi now lol

I reckon this will bring you back in the fold ;)

I did love my Revo tbh

Got big changes at work coming up (redundancy is an option but not Voluntary at the moment?). Ive been there since I was 15, and if I can figure out how to get the redundancy (its a decentish amount) Ive got another job to go to aswell, if all goes to plan I should be getting one of these.

Yeah I’m in for the both I think the upgrades on the Revo look really good sounds like it’s running the x Maxx driveline and  body mount system and by the looks I’d say there x Maxx wheels and tyres plus with the possibility of a roller/ kit version.

Sorry to hear about your job fella fingers crossed it goes well for you

    :good:

Oh no I could be turning into the new Traxxas fanboy ;)

Most people who dislike Traxxas have never had one!

Ive got a few and they never let me down, my last Traxxas purchases were the Aton and DB41 boat not cheap but they do perform well.

Don't need to own one to know their business practices suck or individual models problems which are well documented on many a website.

Just found a pic of the underside I’m guessing it’s some sort of pull down battery compartment ?

Also looks like steel drive shafts up front and centre, must say I much prefer this to the Losi super Rey

Its the design + material that may be an issue. The Yeti was slated for the weak front end of the chassis. This is pretty much the same shape. Besides, the xmaxx maybe fine but there's enough pictures out there of snapped plastic chassis to know it's not really the best idea

    Between a 1:7 and 1:8 I saw

To me it resembles a yeti tt quite closely, which is also made in Taiwan

Anyone think that front sections a little skinny??

Swing arms look good, but the front chassis piece they're held onto looks slim?? Maybe just me

They are all that narrow as it helps with the articulation of the arm. Like the Yeti, YetiXL and Rock/Baja Rey, it does raise some questions about the toughness if the front diff and bulkhead. Its not good on any of those.

I see, how is that braced from the top?? As I can only see two bolts holding it to main chassis body from the underneath? (Excuse my dimwittedness)

Any pics of this UDR without its dress on?

Wouldn’t say no to either to be honest.

    Fair play to Traxxas. :good:

    What buiness practice sucks?

Hpi never chased/sued anybody, but now if you want a Baja you have to buy km because hpi are bust!!

traxxas are expensive but for me there models work and parts are plentifull, Losi never get slated, but a five with a pipe is now £1500++, I’m not a one make fanboi, but I am a fanboi of good rc models, Traxxas DJI Yuneec Losi  Hpi all make good expensive models
