After buying a Kyosho DRX VE the other week i've now gone and bought my 2nd rc. I thought the price was too good to turn down. A HPI Trophy Truggy Flux, Its basically like new and hardly been used. It came with 4 lipo batteries and 2 chargers. I paid £180 for it, which i think is a good deal? Iv'e already ran a couple of packs through it up and down the street, all works as it should. Looking forward to running it more. Here's a few pics

Hi all not posted on this for a while. Some of you may remember I sent a spur gear off to rw racing and they have now contacted me back to say they will be completed by next week and are sending me one in the post. RW racing make the best pinions I found and sell them through modelsport etc. I actually sold my Bugsta a few weeks back as have now gone upto 1/8th scale so if somebody would like it let me know. I'm sure they will be up for sale through there own website and possibly others fairly soon also

Hiding this from the missus lol. Zombie stickers came off right away. Actually looks less toy like which I'm pleased with. Got a mate printing the external roll cage / rack for me too!

Funnily enough the only thing I’ve broken so far is a front shock standofff. Well actually I bent it and it snapped as I tried to straighten it up. Mines landed some massive stacks and nothing broken. Me trying to straighten something and it’s broken. Take from that what you will. ?

That's a nice rig, am interested. Am waiting on my holiday money coming out the bank.

I very nice copy of Sony's 70-300 G lens. Not the fastest glass at F4.5 - 5.6 but incredibly sharp right across the zoom range along with fast silent focus thanks to it's inbuilt SSM motor. I don't do a lot of zoom photography, so couldn't justify the 70-400 or the F2.8 70-200, but this should be a major step up from my current zoom glass. Thanks to aps-c crop factor it's reach is 'equivalent' to a 450mm on full frame - moon shots here we come.

The next meeting is one June 17th at Castlelaw, details as follows: Castle Law is a hill south west of Fairmilehead in the Pentland Hills in Midlothian, Scotland. It is best known for the Iron Age hill fort on its slopes. Rc scale scotland returns by popular demand for our first gated competition of the year . We also plan to run a summit trail to the top of Castlelaw . Competition will be run on a south facing slope using paths carved out over the years , steep ascents and descents , loose surface , dirt and shale make for a challenging but exciting adventure for scale 4x4. Walking boots or similar essential . Bring a packed lunch and wet weather gear just in case . Prizes for 1st 2nd and 3rd Hope to see some of you there
