Since getting back into RC last summer and getting into film editing I started my own youtube channel, Remote control freaks. 6 months on after hundreds of hours of bashing, plenty of breaks, lots of new friends made, A track built and WAY too many hours editing I decided to take a look back through the entire catalogue of videos since the start. Totally worth it. I only ever started this as a way to remember the good times with friends but now at almost 100 subscribers and a fair few thousand views it's something I've begun to take a lot of pride in which can hopefully grow further. Well, here's the journey so far if you're interested, from start to so far. Watch a lot of the cars transform over the videos and the bash spots turns to full blown tracks. Thanks for making it this far2 points

Best not to judge me mate really - i'm no scammer. Yep that's right i make my own and yep that's right i'm asking a question - the kill switch i had in a Baja i purchased second hand is unknown which is now in my Losi so before i replace it i'm trying to see if any *helpful* people may have experienced the same thing. There are some helpful people on here i think? Then again there are some nasty individuals as well who think they know everything and everyone. As i said, don't judge people before you know them and maybe we can all get on well together.2 points

Nuova Faor have presented their new nitro powered race bike called SF-701. NF has sent us some shots of a first prototype which should be quite close to the final version. Of course it is equipped with the new wheel system, the new swingarm and the shorter front forks of the already presented electric race bike SF-601. The nitro bike now uses 3 midi size servos (Sav1 point

Wow Presto Your selling kill switches but can't trouble shoot basic issues with them yourself? I'm a very patient and helpful individual and very happy to help people out. However, if your asking people to part with their 'hard earned' for items you 'make' and sell, yet don't even know how to asses basic comparability with what you make and sell, there is something wrong! Sure it may not have been your kill switch, but come on, if your a kill switch manufacturer, you should be able to work it out yourself!!! We have a very good kill switch maker on here, who has clearly kindly helped you out. Please don't come on here and try and sell kill switches if you don't know what you're doing, with kill switches?? Sorry if you think I being harsh. If I made something and sold it, but didn't understand the basics of the domain and the items I'm selling, I would expect others to pull me up too! I hope that clarifies why I said what I did?1 point

I tried traffic cones at first as there were loads all over the park (chavs no doubt lol) but were a bit hard and seemed to screw with depth perception on corners, the ones I have now are like rubber so they just squish n don't ping up if u clip one like the last ones I had. My m8 uses a tent peg with his which ain't a bad idea to keep em where u want :-) I can see how it would be frustraiting if the grass ain't cut regular at ur local park- with summer on the way I guess it will be cut more often so shouldn't be as bad soon, as for the dog poo ur on ur own ;-) get a poopascoopa lol1 point

picos had this problem with the dx3s . and some of the older killer bee,, not dx3s compatibly,, i think you had to turn off the failsafe in the radio or the engine would restart if it was not at tick-over ..1 point

Yeah there are only 2 needles to play with, the factory setting is easy to remember on the G3.0 engine, you just need to set both the needles until they're flush with the top if you know what I mean: It's probably worth resetting the idle screw as well, it's the very small black screw next to the throttle, pull off the air filter and with the throttle servo in the neutral position just turn the little screw until you can see a 1mm gap in the carb. (Just noticed this is also in the pic above!) Hope it works out for you!1 point

The next Club Day is 7th. April, Vandalbulldog. Come along and make yourself known. John Veal (very tall chap) is the secretary and it is quite probable that I will be there (in case you hadn't realised, yes, I am a member). I have a silver Mercedes. All I would ask is that you bear in mind that it is primarily a bike club and that you do not use the track when bikes are running as these lads partake in National events and need some time for practice/setup. Rest assured, though, there will be plenty of time to run buggies, trucks, go-karts and anything else. The hardcore of regulars (now) all have buggies themselves, after all. The membership catchment is quite wide, and includes people from North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and, Heaven forbid, Lancashire, so you have to make allowances!1 point

IN a way yeah, that was also part of my inspiration on this build - It will be an out & out basher and I am going to engineer it so that it is as strong as possible, To the point that it will laugh in the wake of skate parks! Mine will be proper hobby grade and really useable not just a toy like the tyco. Yes, It is going to utilize a torsion bar for spring rates and separate dampers for absorption. Its purpose will be to be the ULTIMATE basher - Super strong and never have to fetch it to flip it over!1 point

Keep the hyper but get something Electric for the plug and play ease. I dont it's worth giving up on Nitro as it's IMO more entertaining and enjoyable to have a screaming nitro engine than a whizzing sound of electric. Take some time to learn how to tune the Hyper and it will reward you with the ability to tune nitro engines! The Hobao engines are very forgiving with tuning !1 point
