This is a shame, I used RCMI a lot in the past, Cain always gave great customer service and had a good range of stock; sorry to hear things have ended like this. No need to "lol" Highlander, this blokes livelyhood is being affected3 points

Doubt Trackside will have them in stock .. I did a goggle search way back at the beginning of the year and found them there to find out the guy hasn't got them in stock but has them on order.. Best place i found for parts was Philshobby Shop State side takes around a week for parts to come but he always has stock.. I did notice the other day thou that Modelsport are starting to stock a few more parts .. Or the other way to have a endless supply at your finger tips is to do what Smash did and get a st1 roller of eBay for around a2 points

If you want to have enough time to do a full break in I would give yourself a whole day, with scope to do a bit more the next day if you need to. It really is worth committing a day to it so you don't get tempted to rush things. The hardest part is resisting gunning it before you're done just to get a glimpse of what it can do hehe.1 point

Haha! Knew you would come around to the idea G, X4 is just the start and you will be hooked!! Wow, your actually alive then Dan1 point

New scope arrived! Got the celestron 76eq, very nice build, feels very solid and the mount is nice and heavy. Yet to test it but hoping for a nice clear sky tonight. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Celestron-31035-Astromaster-76EQ/dp/B000MLL6QY1 point

Looks like you may have another member of the North East Bashers after the 21st of this month when I get paid, just need to find me a 2nd hand hyper to get started with. From Middlesbrough, but the womans parents live in Murton & I am there most weekends, she has been helping me work out where the bash spots are & has already agreed to do the full scale diving for me (potentially more dangerous than the bashing lol) so hopefully in a few weeks time I will be up & running, but I will be down to check a bash out before then. So if anyone fancies flogging a buggy around the 21st, then let me know, as I'm now 29 & have wanted since I was about 8 lol! Next bash, look out for the skinny lad with no buggy, but with a massive grin lol! Jay1 point

losi's are not quick in a straight line, and a 26cc baja will be quicker than a 30.5 losi. in the corners a baja could keep up with a losi if the baja can get traction and your a good driver. a losi could be slower round a corner if they are a bad driver vs a good baja driver. some people have quicker reaction times/ more experience of the track/area. i would go for a v2 baja and sell the standard engine new and buy a 4 bolt 26cc + engine so you can then put a head kit on it when you want more power. And buy outer wears covers, new clutch, and then enjoy. throttle servo could do with changing but not a must. If going for more power than a 26cc a drive shalf upgrade would be a good idea.1 point

the motors that are not rebuildable like firebolt and clash are junk , dont waste your money , if your going brushed get a rebulidable one , the power torque and rpm are completely different on them compared to non rebuildables of similar winds1 point

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__7190__EZ_RUN_Brushless_Motor_13T_3000Kv_GENUINE_.html That motor you posted was too small, I use these 13t eZruns with 45a ESC's, a good cheap brushless motor. I have 4 in different cars and have never had a single problem.1 point

Next modification, this really was a spur of the moment thing. with days becoming darker around 4pm now I decided a set of lights were in order, firstly i tried 2 front facing LED's this didn't really do much of anything if I am honest. 2 light pods from a HPI baja mounted to the front bumper and being supported by my front bumper at the bottom did the trick...actually my eyes are still hurting after looking at them as I turned them on haha With all the lights off, only the MERV lights are on here...1 point

Bit of common issue and for the life of me i don't know why.. If you get stuck drop me a pm and i'll lend you one of my spares if it helps you out1 point

Integy central!! Braided covered pipes - can't see if it's priming or not. Expensive shelf ornament - but probably the most interesting. One thing 'though, for such an obviously elaborate paint scheme, why the stick on light decals? !!! DAMN!! Al.1 point
