  1. I have a rabbit shaped jelly mould, which would make an awesome SC shell, mightgive that a go,as long as the rspca dont come after me I dont think anyone can dispute copyright laws, and certainly, anyone who copies an exsisting design to sell for profit, deserves a rocket up the bum, from the copyright holder, but i like to lob my SC off skate ramps, and generally abuse it, fair point if driving style is at question, but HPI make a truck that is tough as old boots (Blitz), but make the shell paper thin, i might go through 3 or 4 shells this year just bashing, and at

  12. Dont buy hard case ones. Not worth it IMO. Ive stripped a hard case pack and in fairness, if something was going to pierce the cells, it would go through the outer case any way

  13. Not too sure really.guess the bigger the better.is the 29cc fast enough?guess so. And looking around, it seems as though the 2 speed clutch is pointless aswell in small areas. Ok so i guess i can change my question and ask, 'whats the diffence between the 2.0 and 3.0?

  17. the bearing size would depend on the clutch bell- do you know if it's the standard one that came with your 25? most are 5x10x4 although some have 12mm like the ones that come with the answer rc bells http://www.answer-rc...arings&catid=29 I use these clutch bells and highly recommend them (there HD too) but it is wise to change your bearings anyway- pull them out and measure them- buy them here http://www.rcbearings.co.uk/ great company

  29. It's amazing how many people tell you you have to throw a fortune at largescale cars to make them reliable.... you don;t. KM clones are no weaker than HPI on most respects. QC may not be quite as good, and some of the alloy parts they stick on are not the best made...but in most respects they will run perfectly well and reliably out of the box. Where the money gets spent is in making them capable of withstanding jumps and high speed accidents without damage. It's optional to drive them in that manner...so optional to make that kind of financial outlay. I've run my Baja for a year with minimal outlay on spare parts. Ok..minimal is a relative term compared to a 1/8 nitro .... but that's life! I broke the rear shock towers, front shock towers, 1 exhaust, 1 steering arm, 1 suspension front lower arm and a servo saver. Mind you...the truck was not new when I got it and these were all original HPI parts that had probably been on there since it was made. About

  34. Or you could try a Bartolone Afterburner. I think it's been designed by the same guy that did the GBE Hornet. It's basically an updated version I suppose, from a different company. Here's mine And yes, you're right about the SS pipe. It does improve performance, but it's made of cheese, and bends and dents far too easily.
