I'll be heading down to the next North London Bash meeting (Jan 8th) so should get some video in then with the LST2 in action

wow an impressive stash of parts there mate :good: .My carbon build(nitro)has taken a sudden halt as i have been more interested in my flux latley.I will get interested in again soon tho.I did the fatbear mod to mine and it deffinatey stiffens things up :good:

I've got every drill bit bar the 3.2 :whistling: lol

DROOL!!!!!

One more thing mate, get anti roll bars, i fitted one to the front and it helped the handling out SOOO much!

Oh and get a wing kit!

Sway bars are on the way :good: (ordered few weeks ago...)

Already got the wing kit :good:

what sorta money has this cost you?

In total (including the LST2, MMM combo, Lipos, Charger, PSU) along with all the parts easily around £800 mark now :o:P

Fatbears chassis strengthening mod on the Losi HD chassis

This mod is to secure the chassis to the chassis stregtheners as this is the weak part of the LST2. Required on 4 corners of the chassis

Bad-a$$ Creations (BAC) Heavy duty Steering Link

(BAC top, stock bottom)

P1020713.jpg

The extra lenght of the BAC changes your steering geometry slightly and allows you set the EPA on the radio higher to achieve a tighter turning radius with the LST2. It is also much stronger than the stock LST2 steering link and will eliminate bent and broken stock links as well as take a lot of the flex out of the steering system helping the LST2 handle better, turn faster, sharper and more consistently.

With the BAC link larger than the stock steering link, larger holes are required drilling in the GPM steering links.

Shocks

Before build

Threaded Shock body Hard Anodized, Shock Shaft TiNi, RC Raven springs

P1020737.jpg

After build

P1020739.jpg

The o-rings (orange/red at the top of the shocks) are shot (ripped and cut un places) so this is far as I can go with the shocks until I get some new ones delivered

Lungsford Titanium turnbuckles (with ends on ) & the old turnbuckles

P1020741.jpg

I found the LST2 RX box large and took up far too much space on the chassis interfering with the lipo set up at the front of the LST2 I had. I was advised to use a Stampede / Rustler VXL RX box - as the size is perfect. In order to mount the Stampede / Rustler RX box I cut down the original RX box, so I can use this as a base for the new RX box

Quite a lot of the bearings have seen better days, so new set

Lovely... Really comming together now :D

is it just me or does the stock rx box look so much like a fuel tank?

Keep up the good work :) rusty box will make it a little more weather resistant too ;)

thought it was a fuel tank, was just going to suggest to maybe get a replacement as it has a few holes

Looking good chris! Got lunsford's on the nosram Losi, really good upgrade!

I did look at the 8ight turnbuckles as they are very beefy, but the lungsford's are the stongest.

lol, they do look very similar.

Enjoying this build alot, even if its the slowest build on MSUK lol

Looking to make the LST2 weather proof (corrosion x MMM, rclazy goo on lipos and I think plasti dip and silicon for the servos)
