Garry
What does the standard one look like? Does it fit onto the servo directly in place of a servo horn? If so, Kimborough do some great servo savers. http://kimbroughracingproducts.com/store/index.php?dispatch=categories.view&category_id=
Josh1A1H
how do those servo savers work?
Garry
They are three piece but come as one unit. One part is fixed to the servo position, one part to the steering system or links. Bewteen them, theres some metal C-rings (see pic) inside that expand to provide the springing action of a servo saver. The whole thing attaches directly to the servo via an insert to suit various spline counts. Hard to explain but simple if you have one infront of you
Josh1A1H
thanks for that!!! an image really is 1000 words!!!! i can see this working well on a savage i think with a bit of custom work... ill give it a go... cheers again, sorry for the thread jack
Kpowell911
You dont need one on a Savage as there is a Servo Saver in the Bellcrank posts
Josh1A1H
i know guns, but im thinking of using a different steering assembly... just a thought considering the saver looks quite cheap... i may just get one and see if it really is any good... it could be too soft??? Garry
In that case, then the ideal ones would be the Large or Large HD ones. http://kimbroughracingproducts.com/store/index.php?dispatch=categories.view&category_id=207 http://kimbroughracingproducts.com/store/index.php?dispatch=categories.view&category_id=
