dazzi220
I run 645MG both my throttle and steering for the 4.6 its nuts!
madmanluke
mate its only the casing. just buy a new one. for a tenner you cant complain!
McGoo 69
Yea, thats odd how you broke it like that If it turns well its alright. £10 is alright for a servo as powerfull as what everyone says.
madmanluke
iv just orded my self one of these servo's. il abuse it and gve u a report on how it goes lol
revorussell
right this is in the user reviews so i thought i would just let people know what happend to the ONE that i had got in my std savage i dont care how much it costs 10 or 1000 its not money its the point that i had to stop bashing and use my other savage (that has been running 3 645mg's for over a year now and does huge jumps and hard bashing but are still working like new) if i was to have been giving it a hard time then fair enuff but i was only doing silly jumps with it (max 6 foot) that [CENSORED]ed me off.time having to fix it is time wasted bashing yes they are ok for a tenner and it may have just been unlucky but i still wont be using then again plus is it me or are they all very lound? i spose at the end of the day its just a case off you get what you pay for imo.so it looks like i will be getting more 645mg's from now on as i know they are good

shady45
i see what you mean mate no matter what the price it should do the job.but then you do bash the [CENSORED] out of your rc's lol,you still got the revo engine for sale? if so let me know
revorussell
true lol. still got it you will need to run it in as it's new how's £30 sound? if you want it i will be @ the sand pitts from 12-3 (if my cars last that long ) let me know and i will take it with me
madmanluke
to be honest. a spare servo is some thing you should be carrying with you any way. even if it were just the standard one. 5 screw. out comes the servo, back in with another one game on
revorussell
thats still not point. the point is when you buy something new it should last longer then 5 mins plus i do carry spares (about 3 extra cars just so i can still carry on )but like i said if this is for review's i was giving my view on it.thats all i hope my one was just a one off because not everybody has the money to pay £30+ for a servo so if you can get one for a tenner thats works and last's great but they are just not for me worth a try tho

Delboy
At first i wasn't very sure about these servos. They feel and sound very rough to turn, but i must admit, after running one in my xx-t a couple of times now they are impressive for the money, plenty powerful and fast enough. I guess only time will tell on the reliability side.
Nick
Get a Bluebird 660MG+HS. NOT a 645! They are more expensive and less performance. The 645 is over-rated.
dazzi220
and don't listen to that, plenty of people use 645's I put mine through hell today no probs
Nick
I've had 2 645s and a 660 Bluebird so I know how each perform. Have you had a Bluebird 660? Read my comparison: http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=8292
dazzi220
well why is it that my sav which is no doubt alot heavier than your truck can thrash around with them all day? only this afternoon one a couple of occasions I thought i must have destroyed my steering servo but they turned out to be fine my point is mine go through hell and is fine why do u have the bad luck? I wonder if its something to do with the emaxx's actual steering set up, are u using digital btw?
Nick
Maybe it was faulty but either way the 660 by Bluebird is better than the Hitec 645 in turning oz. Try one.
rcsammy
does the "645" or "660" in the servos name mean how strong it is? if so this servo shop servo is
nitromotorhead
The bluebird 660MG-HS, is superb, highly recommended!! Like Nick, I have used both the Hitech 645 and the BB660mg-hs, so can directly comparer reliability and performance between both of them. All round the bluebird 660mg-hs is better, in every aspect, from packaging to performance.
rcsammy
ok well when i get my next RC ???? i will get a blurbird for steering and put my hitec 645MG in for throttle/brake

dazzi220
any will do really for throttle just don't buy a cheap thing, use your current steering servo and save cash
