Deafty
I prefer heat cycling without any low temp idling tanks. It's one thing to ensure lubrication it's another to "mold" a decent fit between piston+sleeve. I only run for 2-3 mins then cool @BDC But whatever u do, cool at BDC I'll be breakin in a rebuild early next week too Edited September 29, 2012 by Deafty

gooie
Hi all! Hoping you can help me, I have the motor and esc combo from a trophy flux but I cant see how to set the low voltage cut off for 4cell Lipos. Ive skimmed the manual but nothing popped out at me, could be being a bit thick though Anyone know how I can set it up? Thanks!
Chris_b_uk
See page 45 of the manual. By default is is switched on and set at 3.2 v cut off. http://www.hpieurope.com/manuals/pdf/101707.pdf Edited September 30, 2012 by Chris_b_uk

creativechris
this is my break. 1 tank sitting 2 tanks on 1/4 throttle for little blips (2 seconds) 3 tanks going round a figure of 8 with small blips on half throttle 2-3 tanks going full throttle for over a 5-6 second period at a time thats what I did with my first engine which lasted for 2 years without problems. obviously i had to change the clutch but that was about it engine wise. TrickyTris
RE: Diff oils. I've been advised to use the following, by an RC mechanic. Found it to be spot on for pushing equal power to all wheels. Brand is "Core RC". Front: 10,000 cps Center: 30,000 cps Rear: 10,000 cps Hope this helps! @ShadowDemon88 - Enjoy! Losi's are a great bit of kit. However, I've had nothing but trouble trying to tune my one. The engine needle settings are SERIOUSLY out for a RTR model. Make sure you triple check EVERYTHING as Losi seem to be crap at ensuring quality control on their factory lines!! That Losi looks awseome, defo a lean mean racing maching.

Chris_b_uk
Which programme card did you buy? To work with the stock HPI esc. The HPI one seems expensive.

Chris_b_uk
I already have this one http://www.hobbywing.com/product_show.asp?id=214 For another ESC, would this one work with the stock HPI ESC? (not tried it yet) Is so where would you plug it in? ( this one currently plugs into the fan port on my Ezrun ESC on my stampede)
ShadowDEMON88
Cheers for the comments guys!! Feel like a lil kid at christmas But back to the subject at hand Trophy's..... What was the outcome of these driveshafts someone was trying?? Could do with a new rear driveshaft and front drivetrain shaft..... some how become sligtly bent and there's only so many times I can try to straighten them
Deafty
If you're refering to the bag of bits for 12 quid for the 17mm conversion that was posted...The response was,. nope (Front and rear center drive shafts that is)
