  1. Hey guy's, yeah we are all round the area, personally I'm in Harrow and there are a few of us starting to get some momentum towards getting out, well were talking about it, still a bit cold!!! Spent alot of time on the track last year but this year looks like more bashing time!! Theres plenty of people local to here with allsorts of cars and trucks, just keep your eye's peeled, should be a good year!!
  2. All charged, fuelled up and ready to go!! Weather is not looking good though!!
  3. Superb so far. Nice weather, nice beaches, nice food. Good day at the track? I'll join you guys one of these days, but with family commitments it's always tricky. Sounds good mate, enjoy!! Yeah very good, few tanks racing, hours of tinkering and repairing, standard lol

  5. www.monarchmodels.co.uk I've got one in my buggy too!! Great engines!!
  6. After a few months in hibernation the sun finally woke me up today, so went out for a bash in Gunnerbury Park with the fella's and remembered why I enjoy my Trophy Truggy so much. Looking forward to using it some more and getting involved in the forum again, looks like i have missed a lot of new pages, jeez!!
  7. Hey people, Amazing day..... Great turn out from all over london, really good to catch up with some old faces (no offence, just a figure of speach) and meet new likeminded RC addicts. Think it's safe to say that we lucked out with the weather and hopefully this will be the start of some great RC action this year!! See you all soon!! Aaron

  10. Let vote on it!! http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/topic/169237-sunday-14th-april-wlb-reunion-bash-location-poll/
  11. Ladies and Gentlemen, Due to the works being carried out on Dawley Road we need to find a new venue for sunday, these locations have been mentioned to me so it only seems fair to have a poll. The leading location on Friday will be our new destination!! Looks like there are a few of us out, weather is supposed to be good so have your vote and see you Sunday!! Aaron
  12. So it would appear that Hayes is off limits due to works being carried out on the track, any got any suggestions for a location, weather is supposed to be good so need to make the most of it on Sunday. Any thoughts??
  13. Hi guys, It's been far too long since we've all been out for a bash together so a few of us are looking to get out on the 14th April, more than likely at Hayes like the old days. So who's in?? Aaron
  14. Yeah Mayoor is a great guy, anything you want he will order in and will go out of his way to help!!
  15. Not about this weekend but next sunday is good if anyone is about? Roll on the nice weather be good to catch up with some new and old faces, been far too long!!! Teshi, If your going into Monarch Models over the weekend, mention the guys you know from here to Mayoor and he'll take good care of you, top bloke!!
  16. What he said!!! Savox upgrade is the single best upgrade you can do to the TT!!!
  17. Following on from mydoddy, i agree around the radio gear, Speky stuff is great, amazing even but will you actually benefit from using all the functions, plus the cost of extra receivers. At the other end of the scale a lot of people (myself included) use FlySky GT3B (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FS-GT3B-2-4G-3CH-Transmitter-w-Receiver-For-RC-Car-/221018435827?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3375b9b0f3) or FS GT3C (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Flysky-FS-GT3C-FS-GT3C-2-4G-3CH-RC-System-w-TX-battery-USB-Cable-Upgraded-GT3B-/200752163775?pt=UK_Sound_Vision_Other&hash=item2ebdc2ebbf) Great sepc on these radio's too! Receivers are under
  18. No worries, yeah, I for one Will be making up for my lack of involvment recently during the dryer months this year, be good to see everyone out again!! Thinking the old trusty Dawley Road, not been there in ages, unless anyone else has preferences?
  19. Hi Guys, Thought it would be a good idea to get the year started as we mean to go on!! So, who's free either the 26th or 27th January for a bash?
  20. Shadow, What your saying is totally correct "break it and replace it" and that's what I did when I first started until I found this forum, some people like to be more prepared and that was the question asked so people replied, personally I would rather replace any broken parts while I'm out and i take everything I need to do so. When we go out everyone has all the spares they might need, soldering gear, generator, ramps the works. Bit of overkill perhaps but nothing stops the fun!! Come on guys this is a great forum for help and advice and I don't see a need for people to get stressed about posts on here.
  21. For spares I have a Truggy roller bought off EBay, picked down and stored neatly in a box waiting for something to break, however since owning my Truggy I have only had to replace the following parts due to being broken (I've been lucky) Chassis, full speed runaway during tuning with HPI radio set up, hit a curb and bent badly, not replaced at that time just straightened but now I have http://www.hpiracing.co.uk/piw.php?partNo=66477 Front suspension holder, http://www.hpiracing.co.uk/piw.php?partNo=101100, went through loads of these for some reason, 5 or 6 in as many months, no issues now I have the ally ones of the Lightning Stadium 2 Pro. Steering Arm, http://www.hpiracing.co.uk/piw.php?partNo=101075 Shock Caps, http://www.hpiracing.co.uk/piw.php?partNo=101752 Rear wing mount, http://www.hpiracing.co.uk/piw.php?partNo=101170, gone through two of these and my current one keeps bending out of shape, you'll see how when your TT goes cartwheeling along the track. Other than that I think this is one tough machine but maintenance is the key! Pick the car down and give it a clean after a good run, look for any signs of wear and after I always give my cars a good spray down with GT-85 http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_193267_langId_-1_categoryId_228374 always on sale at Hellfrauds and smells nice lol Never broken one of the arms but I would say stay with the standard HPI ones, at under
  22. Happy new year!! Roll on the nice weather and late evenings so we can all get out again!!
