  1. Can I just say welcome and you lucky ....! Only if I could get my misses to buy me nitro cars.
  2. It's seems I'm just stock pulling hpi servos incase a Savox one goes.
  3. HPI servos are bum (to be polite), both servos have died now on my truggy (claimed on warranty, worried im going to be accused of fraud soon). and now the one on another HPI model which is meant to be an upgrade servo caught fire lol. Replace them all with Savox ones. But has anyone else had this much bad luck with HPI servos, bot models are less the 6 months old.
  4. Just be careful that having 2 fail safe systems dosn't interfere with each other, there for having no fail-safe. That would be funny.
  5. Yeah its stock, and works just fine. when you turn power of to the control brakes go on hard, and I think its the same when battery level in the truggy gets to a critical level.
  6. I have 2.4 ghz system with a in-built fail safe. but there should be plenty of room the receiver box to hide it.
  7. The engine is on sliderable mounts so you should be able to move the engine closer to the spur if there is a slight size difference.
  8. TBH I thought they were the same, but 46 has just popped into my head.
  9. Hey Deafty do you have a link to the brake mod finally getting round to doing it.
  10. Hey I can't tell what model it is attached is a few pics maybe you can tell. Drafts starting on the brake disc conversion, this should be fun.
  11. I will get up and running this weekend and see if it still goes. No idea what model just know its a .21 ci.
  12. Has anyone had any experiance with GO! engines? I bought a cheap buggy from Ebay years ago sort of trophy rep, its got a GO! engine in it wondered if its worth replacing.
  13. Luckily it's not a beach so no salt. It's common area. I blow of as much sand as I can with an air compressor. Got to make sure the engine is spotless, you don't want to get sand in the internals when you remove glow plugs.
  14. Whoop managed to get out today with the trophy, here's a few pics.
  15. Hell yes they are. I only have one savox at the moment on my steering, it's very responsive and strong. Don't buy tower, I had 4, 2 never worked properly never centred always twitching and the other 2 just decided they didn't want to work any more.
  16. thanks for the link snapped them up,fit next week hopefully.
  17. Definatly doing the brake disc mod, difficult? looks good.
  18. Nothing actually wrong with the shocks, just fancy the look of the threaded adjustable ones. I know im a tart.
  19. Thinking of upgrading the shocks on the truggy, apart from lightning ones is there any others about?
  20. Question, how do you warm your engines before starting when you is in the middle of know where?
  21. I hate the rain, the one place that is local to me where I can run the Truggy without upsetting dog walkers, shuts down at the slightest sign of rain. Not fair.
