Tried to put up a link for the Stainless Steel Screws i got from ebay but cant find them and the seller is gone, but they are great, I would say their the same as the simply RC ones and much more durable than the standard HPI ones!!

You can get the replacement foams for the Byron Filter from Wheelspin and Apex, over the weekend ill see if the foam from my HB one fits my Byron one, dont know why but never tried or even thought about it before lol

I am trying to replace my stock diffs with the hardened ones and Ive noticed the hardened ones don't fit in the flux. They are a few mm shorter as the teeth are straight rather than spiral like the stock one.

Has anyone else had this problem?

This is what I have;

That diff is for the front and rear of the flux. There is a seperate diff for the center as it has the spur gear mounted to it rather than the rounded gears.

I just installed hardened gears into my stock diffs - much cheaper option :)

Yeah that would have been the smarter option.

I ended up taking the top off the hardened diffs and replacing it with the stock ones. The hardened front/rear diff isn't a direct replacement despite HPI/MSUK's claims. I wasted about

Sorry guys a little off track... But just wondering on the flux models can anyone tell me the size off the motor mount. I'm looking at space between chassis bolt holes and height. If poss seeing if I can adapt it to fit a hyper 7 as motor mounts for them are really hard to find in the UK.

Engine Rebuild Update:

Rebuilt and sealed yesterday. and installed new carb cos I had 1 lying around --> I was worried about the piston fit being extremely tight, When turning fly wheel it effectively "snaps" into TDC freakin tight! So pre heating is a must.

Currently breakin in: So Far:

[*]Preheated to 200
