tbh, it doesnt matter that much, although rear exhaust seems to have a more ergonomic port arrangment. alhough its a bugger to get the manifold on compared to side exhaust

Never owned a rear exhaust but i think id prefer it as performance must surely be better, and also you dont get oil and stuff all over the side of the shell.

Its also bloody annoying when your rear left wheel keeps grip due to being coated in a slimy lukewarm unburnt oily glow fuel residue sad.gif

Rear but only cos it's easier to get on and off - 1 spring.

Don't get the comments about the oil and stuff? Side exit's normally bolt to case don't they?

With bolts and gasket you can get a good seal so shouldn't leak really?

edit: are we talking where the exhaust ends or where it connects to engine???

i thnk some people are refferring to rear of the car, and others rear of the engine. personally i was the latter. there may only be 1 spring, but to get a good seal is a bugger with the rubber bit never seating properly
