*Should* have batteries by Friday.

I switched to the new Nosram 5200mAh 40C Lipos that come out Thursday. Very high amps! So should be insane with this B/L setup.

Not yet, all setup and had a quick run, was amazing, just coordinating with Mtroniks before I review it and put pics/vids up.

Finally got it running so had it out the last couple of days!

It's quick, the setup is a 3000kv with 14.4v 5300mAh Lipo. Racers would be better with 2400kv mind, which Mtroniks also supply and recommend, as you can get over 15min runtime with that. I'll post a full review soon.

RC8Te is awesome, really enjoy it, smooth, strong and low maintenance... exactly what I've been wanting for years! Going to replace the big wheels with some narrow ones though, never really found 40s style to do any good to performance.

Whats that ESC and Motor combo like? am looking for a 1/8 scale set too and dont want to pay £300 for a MMM

Does the 3000kv motor really perform as well as it should in theory?

Which should be a lot lighter, better grip and less play in the wheels which I find in the big things.

Will get a video Saturday I hope. On just 17/50t gearing, trying to get high gearing for next week.

But I'm really interested to see what this does to performance. They are a lot smaller but also weigh a lot less too, they are 100g/wheel against 220g that the old ones were!
