Revs Posted May 15, 2008 Share Posted May 15, 2008 Well the sun has been shining enough to convince me to get the Hyper ST out agian and get her ready for another season - yeah OK im a light-weight!! Ive decided to ditch the pull satrt on my Novarossi 528 and now have a shiny new starter box and a blank plate on the motor... But now my engine wont start and i think the blank plate is the culprit - it sits along way into teh crankcase and i cant help but think that this impacts on the engine as its is significantly reducing the air space in the carnk case. I have tried coming gradually leaning out and richening but just cant get it to firs up. Obviously ive checked plugs, fuel, airleaks etc so it must be the mixture and/or the blanking plate.
