Using my tc3 on different surfaces

As i work in a primary school i has access to a wooden hall floor which is plenty big enough to run my tc3,

The question i have is what is the best way to go about setting up my car to use on the woodern floor so i can get some practise in duing the week which some cones set up as i mostly use it on a friday night at a club which uses a carpet track.

Is it just a case of changing the tyres

I think minipins work well on that kind of surface but even so I imagine its alot different to racing on carpet.

It will all depend on the style of wooden surface if it is the polished surface then you are going to need something that will grip possibly slicks but be weary that as a lot of tyres are black rubber you may put some nasty little marks on a lovely poilshed floor

If its polished wood, minipins are the only things that will work. However, as hpi_matrix_stock says, carpet and wood racing are worlds apart, what you'll learn on wood isn't transferrable to carpet.

thanks guys but what are minipins, am i right by saying that they are like buggy tyres and have what i call little nipples on them

youll want shumacher mini pins probabaly yellow ones
