Baja 2 speed transmission

Hi

Hoping someone can help?.

Just put a new 2 speed on my baja, gone for a test drive and it wouldn't move and the first gear was just spinning.

After further investigation i noticed it was just speeding on the one way bearing (needle one).

Is there anything that be done or if I've done something wrong to stop this?

Just a thought have you got the one way bearing in right way round ?

Yes bearing is the correct way.

Free spins anti clockwise.

Bites clockwise but the slightest bit of pressure the spur spins on the bearing.

Sounds like defective machining on the pinion . you could glue it in with bearing adhesive , but I would send it back as defective.
