Custom Cross Member on Gelande v1 Build

Hi all,

Just curious what people use to make custom electric plates, battery trays, motor mounts etc.

I am collecting bits for a Gelande v1 build with an internal frame width of 72mm so Gelande 2 parts don't fit (they are 78mm).

It only has holes in the sides of the chassis frame and the bumpers etc are then all threaded so it all looks very neat and no need for nuts.

I am assuming I can either cut/bend metal sheet and use bolts/nuts or buy thicker metal and thread it.

Unless of course other parts will fit but spent hours looking and not found anything yet.
