  1. For those thinking of doing it I recently added some wheel weights to my rig. Went with 60/40 front bias and it is climbing up some harder runs at my local woods. Improved performance quite a bit I'd say. I understand the risks of rotating mass and added stress on drivetrain parts, but I crawl slow and don't race around full throttle. All good so far. 👌
  2. Hi all, Going to be ordering one later. Anyone on here managed to get their hands on one yet? Karl
  3. Been searching for a new body and I think this is it. Going to pre-order one.
  4. Got out in the local woods today. Coyote took some decent hits and held up well. Dryer surface means some steeper climbs.
  5. Ah yes this is what I'm using on my current RC4WD Gelande chassis build.
  6. Hi guys, Anyone else found any other bodies to fit the 285mm Coyote chassis other than those mentioned here- I would love to fit a 313mm proline hilux to it but want to avoid lengthening so I can swap between bodies. Also like the Dingo with caged bed. Any ideas??

Hi. I have a set of Carisma Coyote 2.1 wheels and all terrain tyres.
  8. Bump on this. Still after a set of axles for my RC4WD D90 build.
  9. Yeah seen the Cross RC ones and agree they look good. Still £129 a pair but I suppose that may be the best value option. There is the RC4WD Trex60 plastic ones RC Bitz sell. I don't mind plastic but hearing mixed reviews on reliability.
  10. Hi all, I am currently building a D90 Gelande v1 10th Scale and looking into options for axles. The RC4WD Yota seems to be a popular choice albeit pricey or the SSD Pro44's. What other more wallet friendly options would you suggest, for general trail use. Want to avoid Chinese CNC Ebay ones and not found many other options. Karl
  11. Hi all, Just curious what people use to make custom electric plates, battery trays, motor mounts etc. I am collecting bits for a Gelande v1 build with an internal frame width of 72mm so Gelande 2 parts don't fit (they are 78mm). It only has holes in the sides of the chassis frame and the bumpers etc are then all threaded so it all looks very neat and no need for nuts. I am assuming I can either cut/bend metal sheet and use bolts/nuts or buy thicker metal and thread it. Unless of course other parts will fit but spent hours looking and not found anything yet. Pic of the kit version - Karl
  12. Hi, No I mean how did you cut out the windows and make them clear, or was it a kit and you just masked the lexan shel?
  13. Howdy. Like the background of Bob. Out ot interest how did you do the clear windows? Karl
  14. Hi all, Anyone got spare axles for a crawler build, ideally complete. Thanks, Karl
  15. Hi, Starting a new build and before I go to Ebay and consider all metal have any of you got an Axial SCX transmission going spare. Plastic is fine and can replace gears if needed. Thanks Karl
