I've have popped over from watching Tomley RC, I didnt think forums were still alive with the invention of Facebook & twitter etc. Anyways I've got a few RC over last few months and got my 5 yr old interested too so costing me a fortune between the both of us. Not sure if you've been there yet but Penallta Parc is a reasonable place to run your RC's especially if you have a larger scale RC like the UDR & DBXL.
