TT-02 CVA Shock set up

Hi all,

 

Apologies if this is already answered, but search didn't work for me, for some reason.

 

My son's have TT-02 cars coming for Xmas, and will also get CVA shocks.

Both will be used outdoors on tarmac or concrete, hard surface, not always super smooth.

 

What piston should I use for what are probably quite rough surfaces for these cars. I'm thinking the most holes. And least spring compression/pre load?

What have others found works well?

I'd look into the 3racing or Yeahracing ones as they are metal and I believe you get a selection of springs with them.  The 55mm ones will be fine.

I've already got the tamiya ones. So really looking how to set those up, thanks.

Look at the x-ray setup guide, the principals apply for both on and off road...
