Hi everyone,  can someone advise which turbo plug will definitely fit my new picco 3tt please that are available to buy in the uk. I cant believe that you can buy a picco engine that comes with a picco p5 glow plug yet you cant buy them anywhere.

According to the Picco glowplug chart, the P5 is a Very Hot turbo plug.

I would assume the Os P5 plus would work fine...it's also a very hot turbo plug, designed for big block race motors. Picco list a P5TC ....and TH .... with the C being slightly cooler.

 

Now, I have never actually run a motor needing that hot a plug to function right, so I am not going to say it will be absolutely the best plug for your application, but I would try one to see how it went and to make a direct fitment comparison.

I also cannot verify that the taper on the 'turbo' plug end is exactly the same. Never had a Picco turbo head plug, but I am aware that not all brands machine their heads to the same taper.... and a wrong taper could cause issues if tightened down.

Thanks  for reply mate. I appreciate it. Yes i will try a os plug  as i havent really got much choice just hope its ok.  i actually ran the picco plug plug today It actually ran pretty good. So hopefully the os p5 will be ok.
