diff ratio

This is a 'how long is a piece of string' type question. It really depends on how you want the car to handle, and how you want to drive it.

I ran mine 5k / 7k /3k   front/mid/centre.

Slight thicker centre diff oil helps even the power delivery front to back, and gives you less forward power transfer when you accelerate hard and the front end goes light. Thinner rear oil seemed to give me better drive out of turns and if I went any thicker at the front...turn in was affected, and understeer started to creep in. Others will probably recommend totally different oils.

are they wrong? no

I have seen poeple recommend 5 /5 /5 .....7/10/3.....5/7/2 ..... it all depends how you drive. But swapping oil thickness REALLY does make a noticable difference to how the buggy behaves turning in, under power, and driving out of corners.
