Trx4 light cooling fan and other things electric.

Please could anyone tell me how to run a multitude of things like lights,cooling fan ESS sound module etc, from my trx4.  Should I run a separate battery. I run a light system from Traxxas I’ve used a couple of extensions from the bec cable on the esc or is this dangerous any advice would be appreciated good or bad  Thanx Stumpy.

I have a ESS-Dual Sound Modul in my TRX-4 (Though not yet fixed due to other complications).

It comes with a Deans plug as pass through. I just cut it off, pulled out the pins from the Traxxas plug and soldered them    on.

In between is a small plug,  so you can still remove the ESS.

 

For the fan it depends on the voltage it can take. You can also connect it straight to the battery (with fuse!) or use the little red power plug from the ESC.

Use a Y cable, since you probably connected the power supply from the light kit.
