Hyper 7 electric conversion motor mount

Hello. I am struggling to find a motor mount for the hyper 7. Does anyone make a motor mount still? Or could they point me in the right direction for one?

Hyper SS / VSe mounts have been used by others I believe sure someone will be along soon to confirm that, though they're best part of 40 quid from MS, poss cheaper on ebay?  I use the MFP mount in one of mine and an rc-monster one in the other.

Yeah that's what I've seen a few people using, but I would like to find something a little cheaper than that.

I've seen a guy on here that made motor mounts for the hyper 7 but that was 3 years ago, so it's possible he doesn't do them anymore.

the problem is the cheaper mounts that are on ebay and such tend to be made of cheaper aluminium. they will just bend and break or wear pinion, spur. by the time you've bought a cheaper one and its caused some damage, you might as well have just got the more expensive mount to start with.  even if you save £10-20, thats 2 pinions cheaper.

Yeah that's true. I will probably get the more expensive mount then.
So will that hyper ss/vse mount definitely fit the hyper 7?
Also about the battery tray. I know to get the losi 8 tray but I can't find anywhere in the uk

11 quid from the states delivered, I'd bag one of those, by the time its arrived you may of just got round to deciding which motor mount to go with... 😁  BTW, I really like the MFP ones, strong, simple design, and nicely made.

I paid £11 from the states for my Losi tray. Arrived very quickly so I bought another. Again, arrived quickly without issue.
