RevoMikey Posted May 31, 2020 Share Posted May 31, 2020 Hey guys, my boy and i are new to drifting but been running rc for years, over 20 years for me but this issue has me stumped. I can't replicate this, only the boy can but when about 30 ft away and he's on and off the throttle it's like the throttle will stick for a second, sometimes causing a bump. Here's what I've tried. Different rx and txDifferent brand rx and txDifferent esc and motorDifferent brand escGlitch buster capCenter points setAntenna relocated All work shop stock thankfully. By now i was getting peeved so i got him to try mine, same issue. Again, i can't replicate it myself but I've seen it happen and watched his hands whilst listening to the car. RevoMikey Posted June 14, 2020 Author Share Posted June 14, 2020 For anyone reading this having the same problems i found it was the motor/ esc combo. I threw in a cheap eBay brushless 60amp setup and the problems stopped. The motor itself burnt out a few runs anyway, cheap car, cheap electronics.
