Rubber preservation?

Acquired some really cool staggered Tamiya wheels and tyres. Tyres are mint but 20+ years old, how can I preserve them or any other rubber come to think of it?

On a side note; I usually use Turtlewax (UK) - Wet n Black tyre dressing to make my tyres look blacker and slightly shiney. Is this damaging at all to rubber? (On label it states *With UV inhibitors *Contains petroleum distillates)

That's hilarious....u.v protection helps prolongs rubber degradation....but anything petroleum based actually speeds up rubber decay...

If you want to be sure, go get some 303 spray.....top stuff:sweeeet:

There's a few different 303 sprays, which one should I choose?

Wax on - wipe off ..my son......

Apply pre bash and post bash if it's for a runner, or just once a month or two for a shelfer

Once a month :o

I wont get chance to do all my vintage tyres once a month, was hoping for something I could almost laquer them in and then leave them if that  make sense. Any other ideas bud?
