Looking forward to seeing them!

Maybe post a few in the "Show us your Tamiya" thread too?

Sorry to butt in, just reading through this while upgrading my own one, is that motor cooling fan standard, mine didn't come with one of those..?

No it's not, it's a hobbyking one, but it's quit working so I've removed it for the moment.

I'm my quest for more speed, I've got a 2400kv motor which is approx a 17t motor, as it falls between 16.5t and 17.5t, it's a Team Orion out of the Kyosho DRX VE, which is a 1/9th scale, hopefully it won't rip my diffs to bits, I just need them to hold out for a few months

I'll be running 4-pole 3800kv Hobbywing motors in my TT-01's, lets see how long they last. The 4250kv motor was a little insane, way too fast for the chassis.

I've just opened an account at RC Mart. Will be running a Quicrun sensored can with a TBLE02 in my TT02 build.

Ran 3800kv in my TB-01. Rather quick but killed the rear bevel gear into the rear diff within 2 months. But its not the best design to be honest.

Got the 2400kv can. Bigger than the torqur tuned. Removed the rx box. Fitted the alloy motor mount. Fot the motor. Fit the rx box stood up on its side. Programmed the ESC to run brushless.

Didnt know that the ESC wouldnt run a sensorless motor.

Looks pretty. Wont move.

New plan. Save up for a sensored brushless. Fit sport tuned motor out of shelf queen impreza.

I remember now.

I hate spraying, i suck at it

I hate cutting out bodies, i suck at it.

I dislike decals. Im ok at them.

I love the chassis and mechanical side of RC. Bodies and detailing..... not so much.
