Carpmart Posted April 22, 2016 Share Posted April 22, 2016 I attended a lecture/event last night with Tony from ROSSA at Cranfield University on the history of the land speed record. A very interesting evening. Tony brought his rocket car, his new 4s and his 808 car. I had the 'speed' Baja, the 808 car and a Losi 5 buggy with an Oddified motor in it. There was a good bit of interest in the ROSSA stand, in fact it's fair to say, Tony's rocket car was the star of the show.... There are some more lectures and speed events happening at Cranfield in coming months. Would be good to get this design community involved as they potentially can learn loads from this and in return, have a lot to offer in terms of ideas back...
