what battery do I need for....

I have purchased a DESC210rtr (13.5t brushless), and wish to buy a Lipo battery for it, however...

I don't know what Amps the ESC can pull, so I don't know what capacity/"C" I need to get.

from my reading on the forum, I need (battery capacity in Ah) x (C rating) to equal the Amps of the ESC.

thus if esc is 80A I would need a 4000mAh (20c) or 2000mAh (40c).

but if its 120A I need 4000mAh (30c) or 2000mAh (60c).

So, anybody know what Amps the esc in the rtr kit pulls?

The motor draws current, not the ESC.

Providing that the amp hour X C rating of the lipo exceeds the constant current rating of the ESC (and the motor is known to draw less current, which, on a matched set up, it will do) then the lipo will be OK.

II know its the motor that draws, but whilst most esc's have an amp rating, most motors don't, all I know is its 13.5t Brushless!
