conchp Posted August 10, 2015 Share Posted August 10, 2015 HI ive just got my firestorm. ive more or less broke it in on stock settings fuel spitting out ect, now that im tuning i need help. when applied full throttle and then left to neutral it shudders? and sometimes cuts. ive turned the hsn no more than a full turn clockwise does anyone know what this means? HYPER-BOY Posted August 10, 2015 Share Posted August 10, 2015 You should tune the HSN at 1/16th turns at a time, until you hit the tune. Turning the HSN clockwise leans it out so there is less fuel and more air and counter is making it more rich, reverse of lean! Keep running it slightly rich though while it is so new. J.K Posted August 10, 2015 Share Posted August 10, 2015 My firestorm's engine has a perfect tune at barely a 1/4 turn clockwise of the HSN from the factory setting so you may be running it a little too lean. There are plenty of variables mind you - weather conditions, fuel etc. my engine is also getting on a bit compared to your new one but the tune shouldn't be far off!
