Bajadre
Back in 2006 i bought a henglong Tiger1 tank at a carboot while away on a weekend holiday was the OG version no smoke or BB fire etc no proportional speed but it was a blast to mod and play with at the time, the only king tiger version you could buy was the tamiya offering and didnt really want to sink £800 on an rc i might not get use of that. fast forward a few years later been flying the last couple of years after last summer decided i wanted another try at an rc tank again so after xmas grabbed a stock henglong king tiger man theyve moved on alot nowadays !! speed control is miles better more sounds great smoker units and even better quality detail work only added a few bits so far and some light weathering will get round to some battle damage in the future 👍 found a great little website for parts uk company family awesome people very helpful with modding https://www.forgebeartanks.com/store/c1/Featured_Products.html little clip

Yorkshireman
Funnily enough I've recently been looking at a tank again...had a heng long tank about 15 years ago and to be honest it was rubbish ! You say "stock"...I guess that is with plastic tracks etc? Do you think that there is any point in upgrading to the metal option? Nice little video, thought you were going to blast the drone with the BB ! 🤣
Stormbringer
Personally upgrading to the metal gearboxes , tracks and drive sprockets is worthwhile as the plastic gearboxes strip and the other metal bits add a bit substance to it
Bajadre
yeah she stock no metal road wheels or tracks and standard gearboxes so far will porb upgrade to the metal mato gearboxes before summer as she suffered abit in the long grass etc will be going to a local tank meet next month as they do an indoor layout town etc so better to have plastic tracks for that 👍 @Lone-wolfyeah kept my drones brudda will prob get use in the summer when the weathers hotter just cant sit in a chair in a freezing field haha i like those fix wings man they look great fun my mate runs a Hee Wing T2 Ranger VTOL FPV Plane and that thing is awesome has fpv and head tracking on the hd cam etc
