jordan_bench10
It doesnt go by 540 /550 in the big world lol The gearbox will need converting yes and also you will need the bp diffs and pinions Personally id flog this on and buy a good used condition flux or try and buy a flux roller and add your own electrics

Dmasser
What power brushless motor would the standard xl gearbox handle
logicpaul
If you do it dont p iss about. Alza center diff conversion and while your there xl tvp. That sheds the bs gearbox and motor mounts. castle 1717 motor or equivalent anything less is bad form. 150a+ esc Battery boxes, mounts, velcro straps. 5000 mah+ 3s battery x 2. Go for xt150 connectors or equivalent . Irc drive shafts because they are fat beasts. Hardened ring gear and pinions to fit on your existing diffs. You will also need a center diff like vorza or hoboa st pro etc. total costs for that ??
logicpaul
Factor in some money back for sold on parts and it won't seem as bad.
Dmasser
Would the standard xl gearbox handle ant brushless system worth putting in
logicpaul
Sell the gearbox on and go the center diff route.
Tatts
It will cost you more converting than buying a good roller, I've thought about it many times but it's just not worth it as you will replace just about everything.
