Tug
My favourite method is using tights, this gets wrapped around the entire ESC and keeps it clean, but most importantly it stops the fan from getting clogged. I'll try to find a pic.
Tug
This is a Mamba Monster, but you get the idea. This will still raise temps, but airflow is only restricted, not stopped. You'll still need to monitor temps or even lower gearing.
froggy8
lol good idea Tug, the thing is my esc is waterproof and dust proof but i still like to take precautions though
Tug
Yeah, it might be, but it still only takes one blade of grass to stop the fan.
froggy8
never thought of that, think the only way to do this is probably have plenty of holes and drive it when its dry. just read your comment on rctech baja regarding power cap, did castle really emailed you saying its ok to use on normal 6s escs? evssv
thinking about getting one and the power cap to put in my rxI got a power cap in me savvy and mt4g3 as they both run savox 1256tg's..
Tug
I wouldn't recommend it in a Savvy, they're only 120 Amp rated, you're better off with the 150 Amp ESCs.The power cap is only protecting the BEC, not the ESC.
