mattosan
Hi, Im about to get the EMB-1 buggy kit. I know the stock LC Racing brushless motor is good, but has anyone compared the leopard 5200v motor? Its about the same price and from what I can figure, it should be quicker. Im just wondering which way to go. Edited November 5, 2014 by mattosan
silone74
I have both one in mime and stock in my son's, the leopard is faster but it depends on if your racing or not, I like the leopard over stock I run 19t pinion and it is faster than stock on 19t and still good through the range Si
Deafty
How much hotter does she run Silone? (curious)
silone74
Doesn't run too hot, I have not had any concerns to measure temps really and after running both side by side the temps on both are not too disimilar to the touch, both 4 pole and both get some decent usage on fast runs and long flat out straights. mattosan
Thanks for the info, I'll only be bashing, not racing. I live in London so not a whole lot of room where I live. Maybe the slower motor will be enough. Nope, I think I'll go for the Leopard.

dimi74
Silone74, have you ever measured the topspeed of both cars with the different motors. I drive with the stock motor but as always i wanne go faster.
silone74
The stock emb motor is fitted to my sons and I have the leopard motor both on 19t pinion and the leopard is faster than the stock motor side by side. Both motors though are great, 19t pinion and setting the shocks to prevent the front end going light helps too lol Si Si
