advise on setting the braking using the HPI castle link kit

Hi im after a bit of advise on using the hpi castle link to set the braking on my hpi maverick strada evo buggy ive just upgraded the brushed esc and motor to the brushless flux motiv and a hpi flux warp 5700kv motor i really like the new setup but the braking is rubbish now, so ive placed a wanted thread for the castle link but im not that technically minded and wondered if anybody can give me a bit of advise on how to use the software to set the brakes only (when i get the usb link) thanks in advance for any help given

Download the castle link software from the castle website.

Plug in USB, connect to ESC, chose respective menu, amend brake amount, write settings to ESC, go play

Very easy menus and straightforward to use, just be aware that you may be offered software updates for the ESC, many of which could be beta versions. Avoid at all costs. Any USB link software updates are done automatically.

Pit-card is quicker and easier.

It can also be linked to your PC for fine adjustments if required, using the procedure outlined above

thanks for the link is there any more info on how to use it as said before im not to good at the moment with anything technical :-(

Follow my instructions for PC access, if using the pit card as a stand alone item settings can be simply selected on the card itself.
