big turbo Posted September 29, 2014 Share Posted September 29, 2014 When you say blowing the diff what is it actually doing?? Have you got oil in it?? I've had the same standard centre diff in mine for nearly two years running on 5s and it's been as good as gold. A spider diff will be stronger than a standard diff for sure, but not so sure how strong a torson diff will compare to a spider diff as it will put the power to the wheels with the most traction so it may end up giving it a hard time.
