petemauds991
Hi guys I have a maverick scout and recently took it to the woods to find that the front right tyre just doesn't grip and seems to be spinning at a different speed to the front left. For instance climbing over my leg the front left grips and then the front right just keeps spinning (no grip?) Thanks in advance Pete
Alex97
do you know if both the diffs are locked?the way to find out is by holding both tires, turn one clockwise and the other anti clockwise. If you are able to turn them different ways then the diff isn't locked.
petemauds991
Thanks for the reply alex97 After doing what you suggested I found that If you spin the front right then it spins the drive shaft and the front left just spins around (doesn't turn the drive shaft)
Trans4Mation
Check the pin/ or ball hasn't broke off the end of the drive shaft in the cup or pin has fell out. If it's broken the end of the shaft & you still have it get it tig welded it be stronger than stock then I had one break there from new. Never killed a diff like some have .
