I had a old pistol grip rc car tran/ reciver so stuffed it in but it does not seem to work very well any suggestions?? Jasonoram Posted September 19, 2014 Author Share Posted September 19, 2014 The viper bait boat has it's own controls box which I assume acts as some sort of mixer. When I got it the RX/tx was crystals so removed the RX unit and replaced it with a 2.4 unit, it seems to do what it is supposed to but very slow. I have recently split the hull to see what is going on and the motors look like they have seen better days. Is it possible to replace motors with more powerful ones?? Which one?? Can I just dis-solder them from the special wiring and solder new ones in?? Do I need the RF suppressor bits??
